Please look after your little petals!

If you have received a Gift from Lily Pad Flowers we suggest you follow these simple care tips to ensure you get the best out of  them, they will also last longer too.

Most flowers should have a vase life of 7-10 days, providing they are cared for allot of effort has gone into growing your flowers and foliages, and we want you to get the best out of them, So follow our tips and watch your blooms bloom!

Hand-Tied Bouquet

Remove all our gorgeous packaging (Recycle if possible)

There is no need to re arrange this bouquet as we have done it for you, Fill a vase/pot or container with fresh clean water about 3 quarters full, remove any foliage from the bottom of the stems you don't want it to sit in the water as this can create bacteria. Simply cut all the stems at an angle with a sharp pair of scissors remove the string and plunge the stems into the water, Place the vase in a cool place and enjoy!

Top Tip...to ensure your flowers last longer change the water every 2-3 days

Gift Wrap Bouquet

These flowers and foliages have been wrapped in recycled paper ready for you to use your artistic flair and arrange. Since they have been out of water for a little while its extremely important to Re-cut them, If you don't do this they simply wont last!, Using a sharp pair of scissors cut at an angle and place into a vase/ pot or container, Have fun! Again to ensure they last longer place in a cool place a change the water every 2-3 days.

Roses

Roses are such a special flower to receive, and hopefully you have received some scented ones as its so rare to source roses with there gorgeous scent. To look after them Our top tip is to leave the thorns on, if you remove them they bleed and the sap trickles down into the water creating bacteria we don't want that, So just remove any foliage from the bottoms of the stems, cut at an angle so they can drink some of that fresh clean water you are about to put them in and Enjoy! Like with other flowers place in a cool place and change the water every 2-3 days.

Plants

All plants have there own little root system and tend to have different care tips, The general rule is, a little water every 10-12 days keeping the soil moist, once you have watered it ensure that its well drained plants don't like to sit in water and always keep it in its same place as they get used to their surroundings.
